JetBlue Airways is low cost airline serving 73 domestic and international destinations across the globe. Currently, the airline uses Airbus 321, Airbus 320 and Embraer 190s. In the near future, they are planning to utilize Airbus 320 neos and. The Airbus 321 can be used on high traffic routes. High traffic routes include New York JFK to Los Angeles or Boston to Cancun. I consider the route from New York to Los Angeles a high traffic route because New York is the main hub for the airline and it takes roughly 6.5 hours to get from point a to point b. Boston is also a high traffic route because Boston is a focus city for JetBlue and that Cancun is a major tourist area. The Airbus 321 could hold about 185 passengers and the Airbus 320 could hold about 150 souls. A larger plane can hold more people, deciding on lesser flights from the same airport.
The blog gives the insight on the future aircraft for JetBlue. The airline mostly consists of Airbus 320 and Embraer 190. Now the company has chosen to use the Airbus 321. The Airbus 321 has begun services between New York-JFK and San Juan as well as New York-JFK and Bridgetown.
